Race Packet Pick-Up Early packet pick-up and registration on Friday July 27, from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the Silverdale Community Center. Day of race packet pick-up is from 7:15 - 8:45 AM at the Silverdale Community Center Facilities Restrooms and water available at registration and finish areas. Awards 4-Mile Race: Special award to first male and female finishers overall. Plaques - 1st through 3rd place finishers in each division; Ribbons - 4th & 5th place finishers in each division. Only one award per runner. 1- Mile Run/Walk: Special award to first male and female finishers overall. Distinctive ribbons to 1st through 5th place finishers in all divisions. Only one award per runner. Distinctive medals to first 600 finishers! Kids’ Dashes: Special ribbon to all participants in Kids’ Dashes. No division placing in dashes. Special Olympics: Distinctive ribbon to all participants. Warm Up Join Dawn Holman, BSPE in an energetic, fun warm-up and stretch! Dawn is a certified personal trainer, instructor at Silverdale Fitness where she teaches Tai Chi, group fitness classes and personal training. Silverdale Fitness and Kitsap Physical Therapy offer a variety of programs to get you race ready! The warm-up will start at 8:15 a.m. at the Silverdale Community Center, next to registration. Prizes Awards ceremony and prize drawing starts after the Kids’ Dashes. Great gifts from local businesses and a brand new mountain bike are up for grabs! Must Be Present To Win! Frequently asked questions Can I run with my dog? YES – Pets must be on a leash and behave in large crowds. Participants are responsible to clean-up any waste left by your pet. Can I run with a baby stroller? YES Where can I sign-up: Register in advance online, at Kitsap Sports, Silverdale Cyclery, or mail to Hospice of Kitsap County. You may also register on race day from 7:15 - 8:40 AM at Silverdale Community Center (next to the new YMCA) on Silverdale Way. Kids’ dash participants may also register in front of Lisa Stirrett’s Art and Glass Studio from 8:45 - 9:30 AM on race day. Does it cost more to enter day of race? YES · $20 for the 4-Mile Race, $15 for the 1-Mile Run/Walk, $3 for Kids’ Dashes if received by July 27. · Day of race entries are $25, $20, and $5 respectively. · Special Olympics Dashes are free. · Commemorative Race T-Shirts are an additional $5 - T-Shirt guaranteed to entries received before July 20. · T-shirts will be in limited supply day of race. Do you have family rates? NO Where does the run start? The run starts at the intersection of Kitsap Mall Blvd. and Silverdale Way. Is it hilly? 1 mile, NO; 4 mile is challenging – up and down hills. Where is the finish line? Finish at Lisa Stirrett Glass and Art Studio – 9536 NW Silverdale Way, in front of the parade review stand. Course closes at 9:50 AM.
